Our rugs are made of 100 % cotton and linen is used as warp. All our rugs should be washed with water at a temperature of 30 C. We recommend that you have your rug washed at a professional rug cleaner. The rugs can not be machine washed or dry-cleaned.
Vacuum frequently
Frequent vacuuming is the easiest and most environmentally friendly cleaning method. It is also most economical. Regular vacuuming removes all the loose dirt and dust. Using a vacuum cleaner with a rotary brush nozzle is the most effective method and reaches the base of the rug.
Rotate the rug
To get a more even exposure to sunlight and wear, we recommend that you rotate the rug regularly. When the rug is rotated, any possible effects of sun and wear of the rug will be minimised.
Remove stains
The best approach is to remove stains immediately. It is best to scrape off dried stains. Start from the edge of the stain and scrape towards the middle. Be gentle to avoid damaging the fibres.
